My daily beauty routine is the same every day

I have decided to start this topic because a few friends ask me about it. I figured I would start this article. Maybe it can help you start your routine.

Cleaning the House

Since I stay home 95 percent of my day because I work from home and I rarely leave the house for any reason besides grocery shopping, I stay very mobile indoors. The first thing that I do the minute I wake up is clean up the house.

Not only is this a good substitute for working out since I do a lot of lifting, bending, reaching, and stretching — it helps me sweat out before a shower.

It is also a good way to provide natural moisturizer and cool down your body. Sweating also helps with anti-aging effects and kills harmful bacteria on your skin’s surface. Sweating also shows that you’ve worked your body out and you’d be surprised how your skin glows after a good sweat session.

Morning Hot Shower

There are many articles about taking a cold shower in the morning to feel refreshed. I cannot take a cold shower in the morning. I usually take a hot, steaming shower regardless of the weather outside.

Studies show that a steam or hot bath opens your pores, and it cleans out toxin buildup in your body. I can tell you that I always feel fresher after a hot shower.

Once after a shower, I hang around to cool off before starting my skincare routine.

Facial and Body Product

My best friend has introduced me to Aquaphor, and I have been using it as a body moisturizer. It has helped seal in moisturizer better than any lotions that I have been using. Especially in the winter months.

In Conclusion

Hopefully, my routine helped inspire a new routine or add to your regular one. I normally do not wear make-up, which is why I do not use a lot of skincare products. When I do, I stick to what works.

Do not let anyone tell you that working out without being at a gym does not mean you are working out. When you move around and stay mobile indoors doing strenuous activities, it is a workout. Those activities also naturally help your skin, and you’ll be burning fats along with it.

I choose to do the cleaning in the morning because it helps kick start my day and I feel like I get more energy after a good clean. Plus, it keeps my home tidy, and as someone who works from home, having a neat home to look at helps relieve stress.
